Beach Overview
Watwick Bay is a beautiful bay carved from the red cliffs. An abundance of flora and fauna cover the cliffs that surround this stunning crescent of light sand.
Watwick is popular with boats out sailing, as the water is a beautiful colour and creates an idyllic spot to stop off and enjoy the scenery.

There is plenty of sand at low tide and a wealth of rocks and caves to explore when the sea is sufficiently low.
Beach Access
Access is via the Coast Path only, which is often why Watwick is a quiet bay, even during the summer. This is not considered appropriate for those with limited ability or in a wheelchair. It is narrow and steep down to the beach from the Coast Path.
Car Parking
As with so many other hidden bays, there is no car parking within the Immediate vicinity. Park or arrive at Dale seafront Car Park - SA62 3RA. The car park is pay and display and you can pay by cash or using the PayByPhone app.The nearest road runs within half a mile of the beach, but there is no designated parking here and is very limited.
Toilets
There are no toilets at the beach, Dale has public toilets not too far away from the Car Park.
Dogs are permitted on the beach all year round.
