The darker sand and shingle beach, offers an open and decent sized beach at both low and high tides. The beach is good for dog walking and for the range of water sports that are on offer from here. The Pembrokeshire Yacht Club is situated here.
The beach faces onto the industrialised waterway of Milford Haven and looks out over the tankers coming to and from the refineries - which can be seen in the distance.
There is parking behind the beach and a slipway across the sand and into the water, which can also be used to gain access to the beach. The slipway is also ideal for boat launching.
