Manorbier is one of the county’s most popular beaches. A sandy beach, backed by dramatic cliffs, large sand dunes and the majestic ruins of Manorbier Castle, make this a hit with many different visitors.
Manorbier is a popular swimming and surfing beach. However, this southwesterly facing beach is subject to strong currents, so caution is always advised.

At low tides, like most beaches in the area there is plenty of rock pooling to enjoy. The beach gets very busy in the summer and so getting there early is greatly advised. The Coast Path, which runs from here to Tenby, means that it has a constant supply of visitors. The walk from here to Tenby is dramatic and takes in plenty of rest stops for refreshment.
The 12th Century Church of St James and the Medieval Manorbier Castle overlooks the beach.
There is a car park that is located steps away from the beach. It charges incrementally up to £5 a day.
There are toilets in the car park. They are open from 7am to 8pm throughout the year. They have disabled but not baby changing facilities.
Access to the beach is via a path that leads down to the pebbles and sand. There is no dedicated access slipway for those in wheelchairs or with buggies.
