Penally beach can be found at the far end of Tenby South Beach. At very high tide this beach can become separated from the main tract of sand at Tenby South.
At low tide this is essentially an extension of Tenby South. The area is, however, completely underdeveloped and therefore a lot quieter than it’s busier neighbour. It has a different quality and feel about it given the contrast with the more developed beach nearer Tenby.

The beach is backed by sand dunes and provides a wonderful space for the families to play in the soft sands.
Access to the beach is down a narrow path. Initially paved, it peters out into a sandy path that travels across the dunes. This crosses a golf club and warnings abound about flying gold balls!
There is a car park in Penally at the train station, where toilets can also be found. The toilets have disabled but no baby changing facilities. They are open from 7.30am to 9pm.
There are no other facilities.
