Beach Overview

Coppet Hall beach joins together with Saundersfoot beach to create a glorious expanse of sand, even at low tides. Coppet Hall beach is under private management, but from a visitor perspective, is an effective extension of Saundersfoot. The beach offers a gentle curve around the sea, with plenty of sand to enjoy. It is slightly deeper than its neighbour Saundersfoot, which means there is more sand on offer at higher tides. At low tide the beach unfolds to offer a great expanse of level sand into the sea. As a result this gets very busy in the summer months.

More Information

Water sports and fishing are available generally, affording the visitor a multitude of activities to engage with once visiting.

Flanked by beautiful tree lined headland, like a chorus of green, this beach backdrop merely accentuates its beauty. Both beaches are accessible via the Coast Path that runs around the county. The walk around the beaches up into the headland affords stunning views of these two wonderful beaches.

There are well-lit tunnels that travel through the headland that take you onward towards Wiseman’s Bridge and Saundersfoot in the opposite direction.

Behind the beach there is Coast restaurant. There are also toilets and an ice cream seller. It is, however, only a short walk via the sand or the tunnels to Saundersfoot with a larger array of facilities.

Accessibility here is good as the car park lies directly behind the beach. However, there may well be pebbles and the like on the beach, which may hinder direct access to the sands.

As with any beaches, to make the most of your time on the beach, check the tide times before your visit. This is especially crucial during the busier summer months.

Dogs are permitted between October and April and before 10am and after 5pm in the peak season.
